###### (This is the legacy documentation for SDL2, the previous stable version; [SDL3](https://wiki.libsdl.org/SDL3/) is the current stable version.) # SDL_GetNumRenderDrivers Get the number of 2D rendering drivers available for the current display. ## Header File Defined in [SDL_render.h](https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL/blob/SDL2/include/SDL_render.h) ## Syntax ```c int SDL_GetNumRenderDrivers(void); ``` ## Return Value (int) Returns a number >= 0 on success or a negative error code on failure; call [SDL_GetError](SDL_GetError)() for more information. ## Remarks A render driver is a set of code that handles rendering and texture management on a particular display. Normally there is only one, but some drivers may have several available with different capabilities.
