# SDL_GetTouchDeviceType

Get the type of the given touch device.

## Syntax

SDL_TouchDeviceType SDL_GetTouchDeviceType(SDL_TouchID touchID);

```

## Return Value

Returns touch device type

## Version

This function is available since SDL 3.0.0.
