# SDL_SetBooleanProperty

Set a boolean property in a group of properties.

## Header File

## Syntax

```c
bool SDL_SetBooleanProperty(SDL_PropertiesID props, const char *name, bool value);
```

## Function Parameters

|                                      |           |                                     |
| ------------------------------------ | --------- | ----------------------------------- |
| [SDL_PropertiesID](SDL_PropertiesID) | **props** | the properties to modify.           |
| const char *                         | **name**  | the name of the property to modify. |
| bool                                 | **value** | the new value of the property.      |

## Return Value

(bool) Returns true on success or false on failure; call
[SDL_GetError](SDL_GetError)() for more information.

## Thread Safety

It is safe to call this function from any thread.

## Version

This function is available since SDL 3.1.3.
