SDL_LoadBMP_RW

Use this function to load a surface from a seekable SDL data source (memory or file).

Syntax

SDL_Surface* SDL_LoadBMP_RW(SDL_RWops* src,
                            int        freesrc)

Function Parameters

src

the data source for the surface

freesrc

non-zero to close the source after being read

Return Value

Returns the new surface or NULL if there was an error; call SDL_GetError() for more information.

Remarks

The new surface should be freed with SDL_FreeSurface().

Note: When loading a 24-bit Windows BMP file, pixel data points are loaded as blue, green, red, and NOT red, green, blue (as one might expect).
